JOHOR BARU: Intensive care unit (ICU) beds at government hospitals in Johor for Covid-19 patients have been fully used, says state health and environment committee chairman R. Vidyananthan.
As of Monday, a total of 49 Covid-19 patients were being treated at ICUs at six specialist hospitals.
The usage of ICU beds is 114%, which exceeds the 43 beds dedicated for Covid-19 patients and from the total patients, 39 of them require breathing aid, he said.
