Ottawa Public Health is reporting 12 more cases of COVID-19 as of Saturday.

There have been a total of 27,862 lab-confirmed cases since the pandemic began.
There are now three cases in hospital, two of them in ICU, one more since Friday.
In all, the health authority is aware of 64 active cases.
There were no new deaths reported, and the death toll remains 593 residents.
A staff member has been added to two previously reported child cases in an outbreak at the Grandir ensemble Garderie La Maissonée day care. There are no other outbreaks.
In closely watched indicators, the seven-day rolling average of cases per 100,000 population is 5, the per cent positivity in testing is 0.7 and the reproductive number, an estimate of how many people can be infected by a COVID-19 patient is 1.15. A number over one indicates the disease is spreading.

Cases of COVID-19 continue to rise in Ontario as the province reported 378 new confirmed cases on Friday.
The addition brought the total number of cases to 552,056 since the pandemic began.
There were nine more deaths, although Ontario Public Health note one of them occurred more than two months ago and was updated in data cleaning. There have been a total of 9,401 deaths.
There are 114 patients in hospital, with 111 in ICU and 81 on ventilators.
Hot spots continue to be Toronto, with 94 new cases, York Region (62) and Peel (38) in Peel Region, 30 in Hamilton, 20 in Durham Region and 20 in the Region of Waterloo.
Nearby regions of Eastern Ontario were also showing concerning totals: Kingston health reported five new cases, Easter Ontario Health showed four new cases, while there were three new cases in Leeds, Grenville, Lanark and one in Renfrew.
In all, the province reported 20,858 tests performed Friday, with positivity of 1.8 per cent
The province administered 61,041 doses of vaccine Friday, for a total of 19,825,240 doses.
