“I’m the happiest and healthiest I’ve never been in my life. That means the world to me,” the reality TV star shared during an appearance on Good Morning America.

Colton Underwood, star of the season 23 of US reality show The Bachelor, has come out as gay.
The former American football player made a public statement in an interview with Robin Roberts on Good Morning Americaon Wednesday (local time).
I’ve run from myself for a long time, Ive hated myself for a long time, Underwood shared.
Im gay. I came to terms with that earlier this year, and the next step in all of this was sort of letting people know … Im the happiest and healthiest Ive never been in my life. That means the world to me.

Colton Underwood, a reality star of The Bachelor fame, has come out as gay.
Underwood also addressed his past relationship with Bachelor contestant Cassie Randolph which ended badly, including Randolph filing a restraining order against Underwood, saying he was in a dark place during their relationship.
I loved everything about her, and its hard for me to articulate exactly what my emotions were in going through that relationship with her was because I obviously had an internal fight going on, Underwood revealed.
Im sorry from the bottom of my heart. Im sorry for any pain and emotional stress I caused … I wish that I had been courageous enough to fix myself before I broke anybody else.
The couple met during their time on The Bachelor in November 2018 and dated until May 2020.
Colton Underwood revealed he had run from himself and hated himself for a long time, but that he came to terms with the fact he was gay earlier this year.
Underwood was also marketed throughout his season of The Bachelor as the virgin Bachelor, and much of storyline throughout the show focused around this.
“One thing about being labelled ‘The Virgin Bachelor’ is, I fully was a virgin before that, and I could never give anybody a good enough answer of why I was a virgin Underwood told Roberts.
The truth is, I was a virgin bachelor because I was gay and I didn’t know how to handle it.
Underwood first appeared on US television screens on the 14th season of The Bachelorette, competing for the heart of Bachelorette Becca Kurfin.
