Blizzard is releasing a new update to the Blizzard games launcher, also known as Battle.net. This is a big UI update that should improve the process of browsing through your library of games, chatting to people in the social tab, and checking for new updates.

Blizzards game launcher, Battle.net, is getting a big update, which should make browsing through your library a little easier. Blizzard has been testing Battle.nets 2.0 changes on its beta server. Now the changes are official, and rolling out for everyone.
There are five big changes meant to improve day-to-day use of the launcher, according to the news release:
1. Improved navigation and layoutyou can now favorite your games and arrange them for ease of access
2. A much more expansive layout for news and game content in full-page view
3. A revamped social pane so you can better see your friends and what theyre up to on each game tab
4. Major accessibility improvementsweve added the ability to navigate most of the app with your keyboard, increased our screen reader support, and improved the color contrast
5. A new, consolidated notifications hub for messages and download status

Parts of North America will be receiving the patch first, and then theyll be used to test the launchers stability. If things go well, more accounts will get the update in the weeks ahead, including players in other regions.
Blizzard also says that it intends to keep developing Battle.net, and this is just the beginning of new features coming. It continued: Well keep iterating, improving, and adding to the app over time.
