SBSs new drama Joseon Exorcist saw a drop in ratings for its second episode.
According to Nielsen Korea, the March 23 episode of Joseon Exorcist recorded average nationwide ratings of 4.5 and 6.9 percent.
Although Joseon Exorcist started off strong with ratings of 5.7 and 8.9 percent, the drama became the target of backlash from people who took issue with the use of Chinese props in a scene in the premiere episode and claimed that it was a distortion of Korean history.
As a result, KBSs River Where the Moon Rises took the lead once again in the Monday-Tuesday evening time slot with ratings of 6.8 and 8.1 percent.
On tvN, Navillera saw a slight rise in ratings for its second episode with 2.964 percent, compared to its premiere (2.810 percent).
JTBCs Drama Festa aired the second episode of Missing Child to ratings of 1.987 percent.
